Claude Bar

Add your Claude usage

Copy the line for your computer, paste it, and you're done. It takes about a minute. Run it on every computer you use Claude Code on.

Mac or Linux

Open Terminal, paste this line, press Return.

Windows

Open PowerShell, paste this line, press Enter.

✓ When the installer finishes with Done, this computer shows up on the dashboard within a few minutes and keeps updating by itself every 5 minutes.

Don't have Claude Code yet? Install it first.

Install Claude Code (the claude command)

1. Install. Mac or Linux, in Terminal:

curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bash

Windows, in PowerShell:

irm https://claude.ai/install.ps1 | iex

2. Check it works. Close and reopen Terminal or PowerShell, then run claude --version. If it prints a version number, skip to step 4.

3. If it says "command not found" / "not recognized", add Claude's folder to your PATH, then reopen the window and try step 2 again.

Mac (zsh, the default shell):

echo 'export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.zshrc && source ~/.zshrc

Linux (bash):

echo 'export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.bashrc && source ~/.bashrc

Windows (PowerShell, for your user only, no admin needed):

[Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable('Path', [Environment]::GetEnvironmentVariable('Path', 'User') + ";$env:USERPROFILE\.local\bin", 'User')

4. Log in. Run claude and sign in with your Claude account in the browser window that opens. Then come back here and paste the Claude Bar line above.

Already have Node.js? npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code works too.

What gets sent?

Only numbers: token counts, model, project folder name, session times, and which Claude account you're logged in to. Never your prompts, code or Claude's replies. Your Claude login stays on your computer.

It says "needs Node.js"

Install Node.js from nodejs.org, reopen Terminal or PowerShell, and paste the same line again.

Remove it
